Ch. Sadira’s second time out she was the World Youth Champion at 13 months at the World Show in Dortmund, Germany. The judge was breeder-judge Margaret Niblock (Khanabad – England). Over 9,000 dogs were entered with 227 Afghans and only 6 US imports. There were 41 bitches in Sadira's class alone that she won handily.
According to the July/Aug. 1981 issue of the Afghan Hound Review: "This win was particularly interesting in view of the fact that Miss Niblock had only a short time earlier expressed disappointment with some of the American stock shown under her in Japan. Obviously, this one pleased her better!" Speedy was 26" tall, short coupled and extremely open moving, balanced bitch. As a result, we received her daughter into the US, Ch. Khebira-Chadi Har Kala Rachi, who finished her later years back in Belgium.- Ch. Sadira was littermate to:
